Another scorching day for Delhi; Max temp 41.7 deg C

Delhiites today continued to reel under hot weather conditions as the maximum temperature settled at 41.7 degree Celsius which was three degrees above normal.

However, after an upward movement for three continuous days, the mercury was 1.1 degree down from yesterday's 42.8 degree Celsius.

The mercury was at 41 degree Celsius on April 29 which rose to 42.1 degree Celsius the next day, finally reaching a high of 42.8 degree Celsius yesterday.

According to Met department, minimum temperature was recorded at 26.2 degree Celsius, which was one degree above normal and two points up from previous day's 24.2 deg Celsius.
 

Humidity oscillated between 24 to 44 per cent during the last 24 hours.

The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky for tomorrow with maximum and minimum temperature remaining between 41 and 26 deg C respectively.
