Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today alleged that Congress had ruined the nation and asked the people of Himachal Pradesh to oust it in the state polls claiming that another term for the party would only bring more suffering.

Adityanath alleged that various mafia were active under the patronage of Congress in the hill state and a time had come to usher in a clean and transparent government.

Addressing election meetings at Solan and Sujanpur, Adityanath said that the Congress party had ruined the nation and it if was allowed to rule the state for another term, the state would be doomed and people would suffer more.

Referring to Prem Kumar Dhumal, under whose leadership the saffron party is contesting the polls, Adityanath said that he was one of the senior-most BJP leaders from whom he had learnt a lot.

He claimed that due to wrong and anti-people policies of the Congress, Himachal Pradesh had suffered in all fields and its tourism potential remained untapped.

There is a vast scope for development of tourism which is key to economic activity and employment generation, he said.

Adityanath asked BJP workers to remain active till November 9, the day of polling, and expose the Congress and its leaders for their acts of "omission and commission" and claimed that once the BJP comes to power, the state would flourish.
