Intensifying its efforts to nail the culprits involved in the attack, Punjab police today arrested Amandeep Singh, son of a bank officer, from Jalandhar, Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner of Police Sarvjeet Singh told PTI over phone here.
Singh said Amandeep will be interrogated to provide clues of other persons involved in the attack.
Police has been raiding various possible hideouts of those involved in the case, he said, adding, it was immediately difficult to reveal the number of youths involved in the crime.
Those already arrested in this case are Romi Uppal, son of a senior police officer, Sahil Deep Singh and another accused Sumeet. All of them are in police custody.
Uppal, son of Punjab Superintendent of Police Dharam Singh Uppal, had surrendered before police.
Meanwhile, Yannick's family said they have got partial relief after the arrest of four youths by police and the state government has come to their help after the media highlighted their plight.
