Grammy-nominated composer and sitarist Anoushka Shankar says she has explored a different medium by working for 'Shiraz: A Romance of India', a restored silent era movie where she has done a special live score.
'Shiraz' gives me a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It is a different medium from my previous music albums, Anoushka told reporters here last evening before screening of the 1928-film.
"It is a different medium and I have not done before. It is challenging for a musician. The experience again reminds me of the value of Indian classical music," she said.
