Vice President M Hamid Ansari today interacted with the participants of 4th Asian Forum on Global Governance led by Lok Sabha member Shashi Tharoor and the Founding Dean of the Forum here.
According to a press release, the young professional leaders interacted with the Vice President on Indian political and democratic system as well as various socio, economic, environmental and political issues in Asian and international context.
The 46 participants from 33 countries all between the age group of 28 to 35 years present today were nominated by Heads of governments, ministries, major companies, universities, militaries, international organizations and NGOs and thereafter carefully selected by a jury of experts from India and Germany, the release said.

The Forum is a collaborative effort between Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerious based in Hamburg, Germany.
It is a platform to bring together young professional leaders from around the world to discuss and deliberate issues affecting the world today, the release said.
