Following an order by Justice Subhasish Talapatra of the Agartala bench of the high court, Deputy Registrar of the court Bishnupada Karmakar along with police went to the office of TJEB here and seized all the answer scripts.
Altogether 11 students had filed cases in the court alleging that their answer scripts were changed.
A petitioner, Baishali Paul also alleged that TJEB had asked multiple choice questions in the examination held about 60 days back but did not publish the model answer key, a practice followed in the rest of the country.
The petitioners also alleged discrepancies in the scripts, which they had accessed under the Right to Information. The court had on Saturday itself sent the answer script of a medical candidate to a handwriting expert in Guwahati following allegation that pages had been changed in TJEB.
Leader of the Opposition Ratan Lal Nath condemned the TJEB and demanded the immediate suspension of its chairman Rakhal Debnath.
