Anthill Studio selects six startups for speed-scaling

City-based Anthill Ventures, an investment and speed-scaling platform, and Suresh Productions, a film production and distribution company, today said they have shortlisted six startups for funding Anthill Studio programme.

A press release said the Anthill Studio was a market access programme focused on accelerating business growth of technology startups in media and entertainment, powered by Anthill Ventures and Suresh Productions.

In the release, founder and CEO of Anthill Ventures Prasad Vanga said the six startups, selected out of over 150 applications from across the world, bring in exciting solutions for the media and entertainment industry.

He further said, "We are excited to work with ComicFlix, NewsPlus, Recosense, Saranyu, Scapic and Woodcutter, which are the shortlisted startups. We will scale them up to the global markets as they will work on real-use cases and deploy their products in real-client engagements through our tailored accelerator programme."

"We look forward to accelerate the selected technology companies for the programme with direct market access and live projects," he added.

 

Telugu actor and investor at Suresh Productions Rana Daggubati was quoted as saying that Anthill Studio was a bridge between the entertainment and technology industries.

The six startups would have the benefit from smart capital of upto USD 1 million through Anthill Venture Fund and have access to diverse customer network through partnerships with corporates, content producers, brands, distribution channels and studio houses, the release added.
