Actor Anthony Ramos has been tapped to play the lead role in a coming-of-age drama "Summertime".
The film from Edward Burns follows a group of working- class young adults as they take up their summer jobs and wrestle with what the future holds.
Ramos, 25, will play Frankie, who has never been able to find love since getting his heart broken by his high school sweetheart, reported Deadline.
The actor has also recently come aboard Spike Lee's Netflix series "She's Gotta Have It", Warner Bros' "A Star Is Born", and "Godzilla: King Of The Monsters".
