A court here today dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of Congress MLA Ram Kishan Gujjar, who is facing charges of abetment of suicide.
Gujjar, an MLA from Naraingarh and chief parliamentary secretary, had moved the anticipatory application yesterday while the court had earlier ordered his personal appearance on October 21 in an abetment to suicide case.
The counsel of the MLA had pleaded that Gujjar was innocent and falsely implicated in the case.

A journalist Yash Pal Khanna had lodged a complaint on June 10, 2009 in Naraingarh police station that his son Pankaj had committed suicide after he was harassed by two businessmen Ajit Aggarwal, Vijay Aggarwal and the MLA.
The suicide note which was recovered after his death had named all the three persons.
A case was registered under section 306 (abetment to suicide) along with other provision of IPC in this regard.
After investigations, the police had given clean chit to Ram Krishan following which Yash Pal had moved the Session Court and the MLA was ordered to be made an accused.
Gujjar had the moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court where his application was dismissed and later he approached the Supreme Court which had directed the court to examine his plea.
