An alleged thief was arrested from Satya Nagar colony here and three antique idols seized from his possession today, police said.
"The cost of seized idols is worth several lakhs in the international market," SP city Ashok Kumar Shukla said.
On a tip-off, a raid was made in Satya Nagar colony and arrested Prem Singh Jatav, he said.
Idols of Pipala Mata, Lord Ganesha and Kuber, a countrymade pistol and live cartridges were seized from his possession.
The idols, believed to be 3,000 years old, were stolen on May 11 from a temple in Osiyan town of Rajasthan's Jodhapur district, the police official said.
