Three persons were today killed in two rain-related incidents in Kadapa town of Andhra Pradesh.
Two persons were electrocuted to death after a wire fell on their house in Sankarapuram area following heavy rains and wind. The deceased have been identified as Singi Reddy Venkata Lakshumma (40) and B.Hari (42), an official attached with Chinna Chowk police said.
In a separate incident, an 11-year-old girl identified as Devi died in a wall collapse at Railway Kodur area.
The incident took place in the wee hours when the girl was asleep in her house, officials of revenue department said.
Yesterday, as many as 19 people died after they were struck by lightning in separate incidents in five districts of Andhra Pradesh which were lashed by heavy rains.
