The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) today said they have seized 804 kgs of cannabis, worth Rs 1.21 crore, in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh from three persons.
Based on specific information, the DRI yesterday intercepted a heavy goods vehicle near Atchutapuram and found the ganja during a search, the agency said in a release.
The cannabis was packed and concealed in the middle of the cargo space and the vehicle was destined to Dehradun, it said.

The value of the seized ganja in the grey market is estimated at Rs 1.21 crore.
This is the 13th such case detected by the DRI Hyderabad Zonal unit this year wherein around 9,450 kgs of ganja has been seized so far, the release said.
