AP and T'gana Governor extends new year greetings

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan today extended his hearty new year greetings to people of both the states.

"He (Narasimhan) wished that the new year would bring cheer to every citizen in the (respective) state with health, success and prosperity on all fronts," a communique from Raj Bhavan said.

On the occasion of new year day, tomorrow the Governor, as a customary practise, will be available to exchange greetings with the public and leaders of the civil society at Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan here, between 11 AM to 12 PM, it added.

Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, in a separate statement, conveyed his New Year wishes to people of the state.
 

".... The CM desired that all the hopes and aspirations of the people should be fulfilled in the New Year," the statement quoting the Chief Minister said.

He prayed to the Almighty that in 2017 too, the enthusiasm and commitment with which the government worked in 2016 should continue.

KCR wanted the people to celebrate New Year eve with happiness and gaiety, it added.
