AP CM Chandrababu Naidu launched a scheme to update digitise village land records at Sankaram village under Anakapalle mandal in the district today.

Addressing a gathering here the AP CM said that a Meebhoomi AP Online web portal has been launched, which would contain all land records.

In Andhra Pradesh, 2.24 crore survey numbers and 72 lakh land record details will be digitised and uploaded to the web portal, he said.

People in the state need not go to revenue departments for their land records and they can also share their ancestral lands without any hassles, he said.

Digitisation of records would help not only landowners enjoy their property but also help their children inherit these lands easily, he said.

A fresh survey of lands would be conducted after the entire information has been uploaded onto the website, he said.

All revenue records would be made available to people and every farmer's land would be linked to the Aadhar number after verification, he said.
