Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today called on Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti, seeking for early constitution of the Polavaram Development Authority.
Naidu assured Bharti of his state's co-operation in the various projects taken up by the Water Resources Ministry, a press release issued here said.
He also sought Centre's co-operation in making Andhra Pradesh a drought free state in the years to come.

On the other hand, Bharti requested Naidu to suggest one site from his state to be included in the three pilot projects of water conservation to be taken up by her Ministry. The two other sites selected for this purpose are Bolangir-Kalahandi region in Odisha and Bundelkhand, the release added.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister was accompanied by Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju and some members of Parliament from the state.
