Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today inaugurated the Phase-1 and II of Mahatma Gandhi Inner Ring Road of Guntur city.
Reddy opened the Ring Road at a formal function organised at his Camp Office here this afternoon.
The road project was taken up at a cost of Rs 29 crore by the Vijayawada, Guntur, Tenali, Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority (VGTMUDA).

The Chief Minister directed officials to complete the remaining phases of the road at the earliest, an official release said.
VGTMUDA has taken up the development of 80 feet-wide Inner Ring Road to Guntur city in phased manner .
The first and second phases of this road were completed with a cost of Rs 29.08 crore, having a length of 6.34 kms with four-lane carriage way and Central median.
VGTMUDA Chairman M Srinivasa Reddy, state ministers Pithani Satyanarayana, Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy, MLC Ilapuram Venkayya, Special Officer Usha Kumari and other officials were present.
