The Chief Minister will participate in various development programmes and also interact with various sections of people on the first day tomorrow, a statement said here today.
He will interact with the beneficiaries of 'Indira Jala Prabha' irrigation scheme and lay the foundation stones for an ITI college, a power sub-station and a Primary Health Centre (PHC), among several others in the district tomorrow.
The Chief Minister has so far covered 3,500 kms during the 'Indiramma Bata' conducted in the eight districts of East Godavari, West Godavari, Srikakulam, Khammam, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Krishna and Prakasam district for three days each, covering 60 Assembly segments.
As part of the mass-contact programme, the Chief Minister extensively tours in the districts, makes night halt there, participates in community lunch with villagers and interacts with various sections of people on various issues of public concern.
Telangana supporters, including local leaders of TRS and others, have expressed their opposition to Reddy's tour of Medak district, where the separate statehood stir is considered strong, alleging that he his "anti-Telangana".
Police, however, were making tight security arrangements ahead of his visit.
With TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu's 'padayatra' in another Telangana district of Mahabubnagar continuing smoothly, it is expected that opposition to the Chief Minister's tour may not be strident.
