The special CBI court today issued notices to former Andhra Pradesh ministers P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasad Rao, who are accused in a corruption case involving YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

The court has sought response by June 12 from former state Home Minister Sabitha Reddy and the former Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao after the CBI, on June 7, filed application for their judicial custody.

CBI said both were deliberately making statements to the media claiming innocence, which could affect the further investigation and influence witnesses.

The two former ministers, who tendered resignations last month, had reportedly said, "we don't have any case against us and we will freely come out of the case".

The cases relate to investments made by industrialists in Jagan's companies during the time his father was the Chief Minister, by way of 'quid pro quo' for government favours.
