The system of redressal of grievance should be addressed in two separate slots - a redressal of a right which has not been done properly or in time which translates itself into a grievance; a request for a certain facility and concession etc on which Government will have to take overall view, the statement said.
Total applications received should be categorised in these two ways and then the review system should be accordingly structured.
As far as the other issue of request for assistance, concession etc is concerned, the moment the application is filed, it should be verified with reference to eligibility, as per the existing norms and if found otherwise, he should be intimated and the request deemed to have been accordingly completed.
"Wherever they are eligible with a proper enquiry, the record should be maintained and built-up for addressing it by the Government depending up on the other issues, budget policy etc,", Rao said.
Secretary Information Technology B Sreedhar, Joint Secretary to CM, Pradyumna, OSD to CM, K Abheeshta, and Director 'Mee Seva' , B Sundar were among others who attended the meeting, the statement added.
