The Special Task Force, constituted by Union Home Ministry to look into the issues related to division of Andhra Pradesh vis-a-vis the police force, has indicated its recommendations would focus on strengthening of the security "as and when the bifurcation happens".
Headed by former DG, CRPF, K Vijayakumar, the task force completed its three-day consultation process on the issues related to division and met Chief Secretary P K Mohanty here today.
The STF is expected to submit its report to the MHA in two to three days.

He said, during the three-day deliberations with top police officials of the state and the chief secretary, the panel discussed the overall law and order, naxal issue, coastal security and other issues.
"We have been generally coming to many people, many officers, many teams...We are taking their views, we have gathered inputs. The idea is to beef up security more, not to make it weaker," he added.
Asked if there was any specific discussion on the status of Hyderabad, the STF chief noted it was a general discussion.
He said the STF would submit its report to the MHA in two or three days after their return to New Delhi.
