Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan has accepted the resignation of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and asked him to continue in office till alternative arrangements are made.
"Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh submitted his resignation to the Governor. The Governor, while accepting the resignation with effect from 19-2-2014, requested Reddy and his colleagues in the Council of Ministers to continue in office till alternative arrangements are made," a Raj Bhavan communique said today.
The official communication puts to an end the confusion for the past two days over the status of the resignation and the status of the council of ministers.
