AP Govt in touch with banks for loans for deepsea port project

Andhra Pradesh government was in touch with various banks for obtaining loans for rehabilitation and compensatory packages to those who gave lands for the proposed for Machilipatnam deep sea port, minister for law and sports K Ravindra said here today.

State government was taking steps to obtain Rs 750 crore loan from banks for acquiring about 2000 acres of land and rehabilitating those who gave land for the project, he said.
