The meeting will be held as per the promise made by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy during his 'Indiramma Bata' mass-contact programme in East Godavari district.
The one-day meeting would be attended by ministers, senior officials, representatives of weavers and experts, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
The release quoted Reddy as saying that the government is trying to link the textiles sector with the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS).
The release said the government waived loans of weavers to the tune of Rs 163 crore and taken other steps like setting up purchase centres for the products of weavers among others.
