Seeking early shifting of offices from Hyderabad to the new capital region around Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh government held talks with employees' unions.
It was decided that future course of action regarding the matter will be chalked out with their participation.
Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao held talks with the unions' leaders for the first time on the issue, yesterday, and the dialogue process is expected to continue.

The new capital in and around the Vijayawada region has been as Amaravathi.
"Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao informed today that with reference to meeting with the Employees Unions yesterday, it is to clarify the issue of moving offices to the new capital city in phases or at one go was not decided.
They were informed that the time-frame and method of shifting will be decided involving them (Employees Unions)," a state government release issued here said today.
The clarification from the Chief Secretary came in response to reports in a section of media that the offices would be shifted from the common capital of Hyderabad to Vijayawada region at one go.
The state government has recently appointed a committee of senior officials to find ready-to-occupy accommodation in Vijayawada region to move its offices.
The foundation stone laying ceremony is planned on occasion of festival 'Vijaya Dasami' on October 22.
The government has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the event.
