Andhra Pradesh government will launch various schemes for welfare of personnel belonging to the state special police (APSP) and their families, a top bureaucrat said here today.
"Several beneficiary schemes will be launched for the personnel and their families," Home Secretary B Prasada Rao said.
Rao said this while inaugurating a Fuel Station set up near the Camp Office of the 3rd Battalion of the APSP in Kakinada near here.

Rao said income generated through sales from the station will be utilised to provide infrastructural facilities in APSP battalion camps besides using it for the benefit of families of the personnel living in the colony.
He also appealed to APSP commandants to take necessary steps to ensure good health, education and also overall welfare of the personnel.
