The Andhra Pradesh government today welcomed the Supreme Court's ruling on common medical entrance.
The Supreme Court today scrapped the single common entrance test (NEET) for admission to MBBS, BDS and post-graduate courses in all medical colleges, paving the way for private colleges to conduct their own examinations.
"This is good news for us. Also, we are going to get a large number of new medical seats," state Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan told reporters here.
