Andhra Pradesh legislature will meet here on May 16 to pass the state Goods and Services Tax Bill.
It will be a sort of continuation of the Budget session of the legislature as it wasn't prorogued after it was adjourned sine die on March 31.
The business advisory committee of the House will meet on the morning of May 16 and decide on duration of the extended session, government sources said.

"We will take a decision on this after the Chief Minister and the Legislative Affairs Minister return from their US trip," the sources added.
The GST Council, the top decision-making body headed by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, approved the model SGST Bill on March 16 this year.
The central government proposes to roll out the GST from July 1.
