Andhra Pradesh Transport department has earned Rs 1,520.39 crores during this financial year, an increase of 17.20 per cent as compared to the earnings in the same period last year.
Transport department's principle secretary B Syam Babu today reviewed various issues like tax collection, Aadhar seeding with vehicle numbers and road safety.
On the occasion, he said that this year the department collected Rs 684.64 crores under life tax, Rs 144.19 crores as fees for various sources, Rs 179.57 crores under enforcement and Rs 46.17 crores as service charges.
