N Ravi (28), a former sympathiser of naxals along with the 28-year-old woman bolted themselves in a room and shot themselves with a country-made gun in their chest resulting in their spot death around noon, they said.
The woman's husband Subbarayudu had recently raised suspicion over his wife having an illicit affair with Ravi, following which the duo reportedly felt guilty and decided to take the extreme step, an investigating officer said.
Allagadda Mandal police have registered a case of murder and suicide and were further investigating.
