The Andhra Pradesh government has urged Centre to sort out the "loopholes" in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act as they are leading to many problems for the state, Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu said in the Legislative Assembly today.
Replying to a query during the question hour, the minister said the ambiguities led to disagreements between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with regard to division of assets and liabilities, government staff and ownership of different institutions mentioned in the Act.
The Telangana government is not coming forward to resolve the issues amicably though the Andhra Pradesh government was ready, the minister alleged.
