The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee will hold a two-day meeting here from tomorrow to review the party's failures during the last state Assembly elections.

The Congress aims to prepare a strategy to strengthen the party and also plans to take up agitation in support of the people against the Centre and the state government, PCC spokesman Kolanukonda Shivaji said today.

Andhra Pradesh Congress affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh will attend the meeting tomorrow, he said.

The state Congress has taken up a signature campaign demanding the Centre to implement all the promises made to the state during its bifurcation, including the special category status to AP.

Meanwhile, Shivaji also said that some state Congress leaders who had earlier planned to join the BJP were now having second thoughts about it after seeing results of the Delhi Assembly elections.

During the recently held Delhi Assembly polls, the Aam Aadmi Party recorded a landslide victory by winning 67 of the 70 seats. The BJP managed to win only three seats while the Congress drew a blank.

Shivaji said the Delhi election results showed that the "BJP's strength is only a bubble which burst in Delhi.
