The Apna Dal (Sonelal), an ally of the BJP, today hailed the first Budget of the Yogi Aditynath government in Uttar Pradesh, saying it will fulfil 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas' in letter and spirit.

The party's national president Ashish Singh Patel said that it (the budget) will lead to the development of all the sections of the society.

"The Budget will fulfil 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas' in letter and spirit. It will help to take UP on the path of development, and also reduce the economic and social inequalities," Patel said.

He also said that the Yogi Adityanath government has put a curb on unnecessary expenditure, while marshalling resources to arrange funds for various development and welfare measures.

"The state government has been able to reduce the fiscal deficit from 3.01 per cent (of the Gross State Domestic Product) to 2.97 per cent in 2017-18," he said.

AD(S) spokesperson Arvind Sharma termed the Budget as development-oriented, and said that it will boost economic development and ensure social justice.
