Apollo Hospitals wins 'G 20 challenge' Award

'G20 Challenge on Inclusive Business Innovation' is a global competition managed by International Finance Corporation (IFC) - a member of the World Bank Group.

Apollo Hospitals was declared the winner (the only healthcare organisation in the World to be awarded) for its 'Reach Hospitals' initiative yesterday.

Apollo Reach Hospitals is an initiative to take quality tertiary healthcare to under-served semi-urban and rural areas in the country, an Apollo release said here today.

The award was presented by Ambassador Rogelio Granguillhome, Chair of the G20 Development Working Group, Dr Edmund Duckwitz, Ambassador of Germany to Mexico and Lars Thunell, Executive Vice President of IFC.
