Apollo Munich sees 25% growth in premium collection in FY15

Apollo Munich Health Insurance is looking at 25 per cent growth in premium collection next fiscal with key focus on retail segment.

"We hope to end this fiscal (FY14) with around Rs 700 crore of premium. As far as next fiscal is concerned, we hope to grow at around 25 per cent," Apollo Munich Chief Executive Antony Jacob told PTI here today.

He said the key focus will be on retail segment, which constitutes around 75 per cent of total business of the private sector health insurer.

As per Irda data, the health insurance firm has seen 9.30 per cent growth in premium collection at Rs 598.60 crore during the April-February period in the current fiscal.
 

Talking about segments like group mediclaim, Jacob said, "We will provide those group health covers where premium rates cover the risk underwritten by us.
