Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today arrested Additional Public Prosecutor Balbeer Singh, posted in Karauli district, for accepting a bribe of Rs 2000 from a client to favour him in a criminal case, an official said here.
One complainant, Vijay Kumar Niwasi of Karauli, has informed the ACB about APP's demand of bribe on which a trap was organised and Balbeer was arrested, the official said.
APP had demanded a sum of Rs 10,000 from the client, and it was the first instalment of Rs 2000 on which ACB caught him red handed in Karauli.
