Applied maths exam cancelled after paper leak in UP

Uttar Pradesh government today cancelled the exam of Applied Maths conducted by Technical Education Board scheduled for May 16 following reports that the paper has been leaked.

One paper each of Applied Maths-1 and Applied Physics were found missing from the question paper bundle at an examination centre in Mathura yesterday after which the bundles were sealed and handed over to the police," Mukul Singhal, principal secretary Technical education said.

The Maths paper slated for the second half on May 16 has been cancelled and the superintendent of the examination centre has been removed and the observor suspended, Singhal added.
 

A case in this connection has been lodged at the Farah police station in Mathura, he said, adding, strong action will be taken against those found responsible.

The applied physics paper was cancelled yesterday.
