In its order issued to all Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, the government has sought details of pending cases of compassionate appointments, an official spokesman said.
All the departments have been asked to submit complete information to the Personnel Department immediately so that the government could review the matter, he added.
