Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary put the appropriation bill for voting by the members who approved it by a voice vote.
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi in his capacity as the Finance Minister tabled the bill comprising non-plan expenditure proposal of Rs 2,793.96 crore and plan proposal of Rs 6,722.47 crore in the house for discussion and subsequent approval by the members.
Modi said following the approval of the appropriation bill of Rs 9,672.83 crore the state's annual budget for 2012-13 has gone up to Rs 88,359 crore.
