Following a well-planned joint operation carried out at Khonsa, the district headquarters on Thursday, security forces nabbed the rebel, identified as Winnok Nokbi, an AR communique said here today.
Apart from extortion note signed by Major Johan of the outfit and extortion amount of Rs 670, a pair of combat shoes was recovered from the cadre.
Nokbi, who hails from Muktwa village was tasked to extort money from Khonsa market.
