K P Aravind of TVS Racing clinched the overall title in MRF 2W Rally of Coimbatore 2015, the 2nd round of MRF MOGRIP FMSCIU Indian National Rally Championship held here today.
Finishing second was R Nataraj of TVS Racing, while local lad V S Naresh was third as the best two-wheeler rallysts in the country aimed to conquer the dirt roads on their machines.
The event, organised by Coimbatore Auto Sports Club, was flagged off by Mayor P Rajkumar around 7.30 AM and saw 38 rallyists taking part in various categories.
Thirty two competitors finished the rally, while six competitors dropped out due to mechanical failure.
