Prices of arhar and gram rose by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on increased buying by stockists following uptick in demand from retailers.
Traders said increased buying by stockists on the back of pick up in demand from retailers mainly attributed the rise in arhar and gram prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,900 and Rs 6,900-8,700 per quintal, respectively.
