Arhar and its dal prices firmed up by Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on emergence of stockists buying, driven by pick-up in demand from retailers.
However, kabuli gram met with resistance at higher level and ended lower.
Traders said, stockists buying, supported by uptick in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts, mainly led to the rise in arhar and its dal prices.

On the other hand, kabuli gram declined by Rs 100 to Rs 9,900-10,200 per quintal.
