Arhar, its dal up on selective buying

Barring a rise in prices of arhar and its dal, other pulses held steady at the wholesale market today in the national capital.

Traders attributed the rise in arhar and its dal prices to selective buying by retailers.

In the national capital, arhar, and its dal dara variety recovered by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,000 and Rs 9,800-11,500 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad Rs 9,100-10,200, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 9,300-9,400, Urad best Rs 9,400-9,900, Dhoya Rs 9,800-10,100, Moong Rs 5,000-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,550-5,950, Moong Dhoya local Rs 5,950-6,450 and best quality Rs 6,450-6,650.
 

Masoor small Rs 5,900-6,100, bold Rs 5,950-6,150, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,350-6,850, best quality Rs 6,450-6,950, Malka local Rs 7,000-7,300, best Rs 7,100-7,400, Moth Rs 4,800-5,200, Arhar Rs 7,000, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 9,800-11,500.

Gram Rs 8,000-8,200, Gram dal (local) Rs 8,400-8,600, best quality Rs 8,700-8,800, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 3,680, Rajdhani Rs 3,680, Rajma Chitra Rs 5,300-6,350, Kabuli Gram small Rs 9,400-9,800, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 3,600-3,625 and green Rs 3,800-3,900.
