Arhar recovers on scattered demand

In limited deals, arhar prices recovered by Rs 200 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale market today on scattered buying.

However, other pulses trading in a tight range on little doing, settled around previous levels.

Traders said mild demand from retailers mainly led to recovery in arhar prices.

In the national capital, arhar edged up to Rs 10,200 from previous level of Rs 10,000 per quintal.

Its dal dara variety remained flat at Rs 12,000-15,000 per quintal.
