Pop star Ariana Grande has cancelled her Vietnam concert due to an unspecified health issue.

The show was scheduled to take place at Ho Chi Minh City's Quan Khu 7 Stadium on Wednesday, according to Billboard.

The singer revealed the news via an Instagram story, "My babes in Vietnam, I apologise from the bottom of my heart but I'm really dealing with some health problems at the moment," she wrote.

"I came here to Vietnam, so excited to perform, my doctor won't allow me to do the show for you tonight."

The 24-year-old singer continued to apologise to her fans for the cancellation and promised to return to the country.

"I'm so so sorry. There is nothing I hate to do more than to do this but I promise to make it up to you in the future. I love you and thank you for understanding."

Grande has been on the road since February. The tour was to support her third studio album "Dangerous Woman". She kicked it off in North America before heading to Europe, Latin America and Asia.

She will next perform three shows in China starting from August 26 to August 30.

The singer is scheduled to visit New Zealand and Australia before returning to Asia.

Grande is scheduled to perform in Singapore and Taiwan before wrapping up her tour in Hong Kong on September 21.
