Armed dacoits allegedly looted valuables and cash at gun point from a trader's house at Jansath town in the district.
The incident occurred last night as the dacoits forcefully entered the house of the scrap trader, held the entire family hostage on gunpoint and looted the cash and ornaments, police said.
No arrest have been made so far, they said, adding that further investigations are underway.
