Armed miscreants loot Rs 5.38 lakh from petrol pump employee

Armed miscreants today looted Rs 5.38 lakh from a petrol pump employee at Narahia Bazar in Bihar's Madhubani district, a police officer said.

A petrol pump employee Upendra Kumar was riding on a bike towards the SBI branch located nearby to deposit an amount of Rs 5.38 lakh when two motorcycle-borne miscreants intercepted him and snatched his bike's key at gun point before taking out a bag containing the cash from its dikki, Laukahi police station in-charge Ramchandra Chaupal said.

A probe was on in the matter and raids were being carried out to nab the culprits, the police officer added.
