Around 20-25 armed miscreants entered some of the bogies of the train late last night when the train on its way to Sealdah had stopped at the outer signal of Eklakhi railway station near Malda Town, the sources said.
The miscreants started looting the passengers after entering the bogies. Two persons who resisted the miscreants were attacked by them and suffered injuries, they said.
After looting the miscreants got down from the train.
When the train stopped at Malda Town station the angry passengers protested demanding security in the train and immediate medical attention to the two injured persons, sources said.
