Armed robbers loot passengers on board Kambhuni Express

Several passengers on board Kambhumi Superfast Express were robbed of their belongings by some armed persons who entered the two general boggies of the train, railway officials said.

The incident took place last evening after 10-12 armed robbers entered two general boggies of the train during a halt near Rampur Station, Railway police (GRP) said, adding, the robbers looted and injured the passengers.

The miscreants fled near Bareilly Railway Station, they said.

A case had been lodged at Sitapur Cantt Station in this connection, they added.
