Armenia will hold early parliamentary polls in December after parliament was dissolved following the failure to elect a prime minister for the second time over the past week.
The move came as a result of political manoeuvring by acting prime minister Nikol Pashinyan who has long sought to hold snap parliamentary polls and tighten his control over the chamber.
He said the election had been set for December 9.
